Advice for the professional cleaner

Do you have a cleaner but still want to use a healthier and more environmentally sustainable method to keep your home perfect?

You can!

All the Gyre and Gymble cleaning products and methods are no more difficult or time-consuming than using the traditional supermarket products. All you need to do is show your cleaner what you want and they will be able to make up the following products to use. The only difference will be that you pick the essential oils to use to create your own bespoke aroma. You will also know that using Gyre and Gymble's products your home will become chemical free without compromise.

Your cleaner will need:

  • Multi-surface cleaner (1L trigger spray bottle)
  • Glass cleaner (1L trigger spray bottle)
  • Bicarb soda (1kg bag)
  • Floor cleaner (timber or tile)
  • Room spray
  • Essential oils (your selection)
  • Microfiber cloths

Recipe

Multi-surface cleaner: 50/50 water and Castile soap plus 10 drops of the following are a great mix, lavender, eucalyptus, and lemon. However, you can make this to your own requirements. Use this for all areas of the home and just wipe clean with a microfiber cloth.

Glass cleaner - 80/20 vinegar and water spray on all glass surfaces and polish clean with a microfiber cloth.

Cream scouring cleaner: Just sprinkle bicarb soda on stainless steel and ceramic to work as a gentle scouring cream. If you add a squeeze of either lemon juice or the vinegar spray this will give the mixture a little extra power.

Floor cleaner: One bucket of hot water with 1/3 cup Castile soap and 4 to 5 drops of eucalyptus and lemon essential oils.

Room Spray: Use the small Classic Collection metal spray or one of the sampler 150ml sprays and fill to 50% with filtered water, then add your mix of essential oils. You can also add a cap of vodka (which will help the oils mix in the water) or just shake each time you spray.

The only part of the cleaning process that you might need to change will be to make sure that you spray any areas that have a limescale build up first and then leave them to soak and dissolve before coming back to polish clean.

I also recommend finishing your home with the following touches.

  • Spray each room with your essential oil room spray
  • Drop a toilet bomb in each toilet
  • Place 3 to 4 drops of neat eucalyptus oil into each toilet

Note: For some more tips, have a look at the Gyre and Gymble guides on:

If your cleaner also changes beds and does the washing they can have a look at the Gyre and Gymble guide on what to clean when.

This process will only take a couple of times to become a natural way of cleaning your home. The cleaner will add a natural cleaning feather to their cap and also work less with harmful chemicals.

Most importantly, you will no longer have to worry about unnecessarily harsh chemicals in your home.
