What has to happen before an object is allowed to become art?
A skateboard belongs to movement, risk and display. These are new decks that will never be ridden — gilded instead, and hung on a wall. Each one is a single object with a full plaque behind it, so these are enquiries, not a basket.
The series is catalogued in full — every work plated, its plaque behind it, and the critique of that plaque printed alongside. The catalogue raisonné is on the collection page, in two editions.
